The views from our condo never get old. No matter the time of day, there is a beautiful view. Seeing the sunset over the mountains, the lights of the city beginning to twinkle and the sky begins to darken, the full moon dipping below the horizon in the early hours of the morning.
I have always loved mountains. Being able to look outside and see mountains all around us brings a smile on even the worst day.
I thought I’d share some of my favourite views from our home.
Sunrise
The only reason I was able to document this was because I’m terrible at procrastinating and had to pull all nighters to get work done. But it was beautiful to watch the city become illuminated with the morning light.
Afternoon
In the rainy season, we can barely see the buildings right in front of us due to all the clouds and fog. On a good day, the sun shines down on us as we sit on our balcony and soak up the vitamin D.
Sunset
My favourite time of day. The sunsets we have experienced here have been unreal. It’s hard to capture the magnificence of it with a photo, but this gives you a glimpse of our evening treats.
Full Moon
I woke up one morning at 5:15am and saw the full moon just as it was setting. The sky was incredible. I snapped a picture of it while lying in bed. And then I went back to sleep.
Now, can you see how leaving this will be so hard?
